Y’all, Greece was amazing.
I couldn’t resist putting together a little photo diary from my trip to Greece to share with all of you in this newsletter. Over the course of my two-week trip, I spent time in Athens, Paros, Naxos, and Santorini (and yes, Santorini is worth the hype).
Here’s a handful of my favorite shots (narrowing them down was so hard—there were so many good photos to choose from!).
On the street near Plaka, Athens. The aesthetics were enough to make me stop and snap a pic.
As far as Airbnbs go, you can’t go wrong with one with a view of the Acropolis.
The Cyclades are known for their “sugar cube” architecture. In my opinion, Paros had the best of the 3 islands.
Santa Maria Beach, Paros
On our last day in Paros, we did a boat tour around the island. One of the swim stops was Agios Nicholaos, a little church on an island in the middle of the water. We were able to swim to the church and light a candle, which was pretty special.
Lefkes, Paros
We stumbled upon this Greek spice shop/market in Naxos—we thought it was a basket store—but it was BEAUTIFUL on the inside.
Naxos Town, Naxos
Naxos, near Agios Georgios Beach
Temple of Apollo, Naxos
Oia, Santorini
What’s a Greek island without octopothi?
Oia at dusk, Santorini
Church of St. Minas, Fira, Santorini
Obligatory cat photo. Cats basically run the place.
The sunset shot of Oia. A bucket list shot for me for sure.
Overlooking Fira, Santorini. You can walk between Fira and Oia. It’s definitely not for the faint-hearted but the views and accomplishment make up for it. You pass through Fira, Firostefani, and Imerovigli along the way.
And with that, summer 2024 is officially in the books. As much as I’m not ready to say goodbye, I’m ready for sweater weather and my Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew.
